My grandfather passed away January 23, 2008. We had gone to see him in Japan, and returned a couple days later. The minute we stepped off the plane we got a phone call telling us he was in critical condition, and today he went home. I'll be absent even longer to attend the funeral services..

Today was National Death Day, aka Picture Day! X[ lol okay maybe it's not THAT bad haha but its not on my amazing list or anything

Anywho I finally have time to update my journal....hmm when was the last one updated? ....August?! lol ive been slacking.

Well, Mojo, Im alive, you see? lol i havent been avoiding you! Just been busy busy. And i think that the season change has made me sick! ick, whats that i feel?? Do I sense a cold coming on? The flu perhaps??? I wont know till its too late lol dun dun dun

Okay, Im done with some weird rantings, now i must go to bed.

Night!

My first day of school began with the shrill little black alarm clock bleeting a tune in my ear. After going through the routines [half-dead] that I had gladly given up only two months before, I staggered downstairs and rushed out the door...

The bell rang out and kids with terrified looks in their eyes scurried across campus to try and locate their classes. Classes begun and teachers began to drone on about school rules, expectations, and ended with the ceremony of "The Passing of Papers". We played lame get-to-know-your-peer games, and i was overly overjoyed when the bell sounded and class ended.

I met some awesome peeps, though, that truely is making my week so much better and bearable. If not for the homework, i could start to get used to a another new year of high school...

Wow, Im so amazed by how everyones art here on DA has just seemed to have gotten much more emotional, powerful, and so dang pretty! [Im not saying that it wasnt ever before]

Ah, summertime...a time for cooling off in the pool, spending time with friends, drinking lemonade, staying past your curfew [by HOURS], and reading the day away...You gotta love it

For a summer read seris i recommend the Shopaholic Seris by Sophie Kinsella. Actually, I recommend all her books. Check 'em out! :]

Wow, i submitted a ton of work today, so i think im going to stop...

Ive been so tired lately, running around all over the place, and trying to get used to the idea that summer is almost over I really miss Japan, and want to go back!
